Carrot halwa is also known as a gajar ka halwa, Gajrela is a sweet dessert pudding from India and Pakistan.

Ingredients for Carrot Halwa:
- 8-10 carrots
- 3 big spoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 3/4 cup sugar/ honey
- 5-6 sliced almonds
- 5-6 cashew nuts
- 10-15 raisins
- Grated mawa/khoya
- 4-5 cups chopped pistachio
- Take a microwave proof bowl and melt a butter and grated carrot in that.
- Now mingle cardamom powder in that and in a microwave on high cook for 5 minutes then add sugar or honey and mix and cook for 2 minutes.
- After that add almond, cashew, raisins, and khoya ( remain some for garnishing)
- Then cook for 2 minutes in the microwave, Take it out and garnish it with some almonds, pistachio and with cashew nuts. Serve. Enjoy!!
